CASE STUDY · BUILT FOR OURSELVES

The AI content engine that never misses a posting day.

Social media rewards consistency, and humans are terrible at daily. So we built an automation pipeline that researches what's working, generates branded videos and images, and queues posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube every single day. A human approves every post. The machine does everything else.

THE PROBLEM

Consistency is the whole game, and it's brutal

Every marketing guide says the same thing: post daily, stay on trend, tailor content to each platform. For a small team shipping product, that advice is a fantasy. Researching hooks, sourcing footage, editing video, writing captions in four different platform dialects, then actually posting: that is a full-time job nobody hired for.

We needed QuokkaGuide's channels fed every day without hiring a content team or letting product work slip. So we treated marketing like an engineering problem.

The insight: 90% of daily content work is grind, not judgment. Grind automates.

THE PIPELINE

From internet scan to scheduled post

The engine runs on a daily schedule. Each run walks the same seven stages, orchestrated on self-hosted, open-source infrastructure so there are no per-seat SaaS fees stacking up.

Scan

Researches what's resonating right now: trending hooks and topics in our niche, pulled from platform APIs and ranked by traction.

Source

Finds licensed photos and footage to match, and records the usage rights for every asset in a manifest. No grey-area scraping.

Brief

AI writes a structured creative brief: the hook, a short script, captions tailored to each platform, and hashtags.

Render

Generates the assets: a branded vertical video for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, a feed image, and an AI voiceover when the format calls for it.

Queue

Uploads everything to our self-hosted scheduler as drafts, mapped to the right channels with the right captions.

Human gate

A person reviews, tweaks and schedules. Nothing publishes silently. Ever. This step is deliberate and permanent.

Learn

Weekly metrics flow back into the pipeline: hooks that performed get doubled down on, formats that flopped get dropped.

Here is a real run for QuokkaGuide, from an AI-drafted sequence to finished renders waiting for a human in the scheduler.

THE POINT

Why the human gate is the feature, not the compromise

Plenty of tools will auto-post AI content for you. We think that is how brands end up apologising on the internet. Our engine automates research, production and logistics, the parts that eat a workday, and reserves judgment for a person: five minutes with a coffee, approving or killing drafts.

The result is a content operation that costs a fraction of one hire, never misses a day, learns from its own numbers, and has a human fingerprint on every post that goes out.

We run this for QuokkaGuide today. If your business needs to show up daily on social without a content team, this same architecture adapts: your niche, your brand kit, your approval flow. It is one of the AI automation systems we build for clients.
